Mug Shots: A Small Town Noir (2014)

It strikes me that every time I view a mugshot, I feel a pang of mild disdain and secondhand shame. In those moments, I can only abstractly reason that the subjects might very well be innocent, or simply victims of fate. But, I mostly feel shame. I wonder if it is time to ban or severely limit the practice.

I enjoyed that. I have no mug shots (yet) and I suppose that reduces the odds that anyone might write about me in 100 years.
