We Can Read Again

As I said elsewhere, I used to love reading on the bus. Nowadays there are so many [expletives] around playing junk on their phones I find this hard to do. (I'm on a bus right now!) It stresses me out and I can't commit to reading while that is going on. I get taken out of the book and struggle to get back into it.

As regards the fifty page thing, I think it depends what you are tackling. With Walter Scott I would have to soldier through it, at least a chapter a day.
