This reminded me of an old DOS game I used to play called Castle Adventure. I'd almost forgotten about it. Apparently, the original programmer was just 14 when he made it and the source was stolen and sold by some other companies.

Constraints like these are such a good way to learn programming. When you have limited memory and a slow CPU, every variable and every line of code has a purpose. It's hard not to come away with a better appreciation for how software actually work.

Neat idea, very distracting with the incessant meme clips constantly inserted into the youtube video.
