If you shorted Nvidia back when you started complaining, you would not be any richer or better-off today. I'm not an AI maxi, but you've let your own emotions poison your understanding of the AI market segment.

Another standing reminder:
LONG position: potential losses (FIXED), potential gains (INFINITE)
SHORT position: potential losses (INFINITE), potential gains (FIXED)

Grab a coffee with Leopold Aschenbrenner, ask how their experience with intuition went. You must be right, on time, and with sufficient capital behind you to win.

Arguable he had all 3. He was right about the market going up for AI, he was right about the years, and he had double-digit billions behind him.
It's just there's no sufficient capital when you decide to re-leverage to 4x every time you can.

Shorting Nvidia this late into the game would just reward the people going long on the stock, perpetuating the bubble with your own hubris.

Nvidia P/E ratio 34.47. should be 10.

It can get even higher.

I can remain irrational far longer than AI stocks can pollute nature, pillage earth and cause drought and heat related fires.
Today is the Terminator AI moment.

AI is a generational attack on working people everywhere by the capitalized class.
It has earned our animosity, especially if the attack looks like it will actually go through.
And, ironically, I don't think the capitalized even understand that they are building a giant guillotine for themselves, as if the buildout billions are well-spent, there would necessarily be a communist revolution, and it would be bloody. No one eats safely around the starving.
Without a horse in this race, I'm fascinated to see which the market chooses: machine-god + self-annihilation, or humiliation + bankruptcy.
Either way, there is nothing like the present configuration on the other side. Its a political, not technological, singularity.

Sure.
> sell our AI stocks... and pop the AI bubble
Not sure it works that way, unfortunately. e.g. index funds

Routes. Resources. AI. Accelerated Infrastructure. What is there to not like?

I don't like the AI datacenters, Sam Altman and Claude slop.

why do you like normal data centers but not "AI data centers"? What do you think the difference is? When does a normal data center turn into an AI data center?
