Excellent. I've been having a hard time knowing what day of the week it is lately, and this will remind me it is a Monday.

The kind of where there is no shooting going on? Or rather the usual kind where everybody shoots everybody and claims to be retaliating?

The key part to understand why this means nothing:

> Iran’s Supreme National Security Council said in a statement that the country had finalized a memorandum of understanding with the United States

> The agreement will be signed on Friday

> In a statement, Supreme National Security Council said the agreement called for an immediate end to military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon

But Israel is never going to reverse its invasion of Lebanon, its key to their Greater Israel[1] project. It's important to know that Israel is currently occupying parts of southern Lebanon [2]. Trump would have to force Israel to stop its illegal invasion, that's never going to happen.

Israel invaded Lebanon because terrorists have been attacking Israel from Lebanon. The invasion has nothing to do with "Greater Israel".

They leveled whole villages to ground and created "freely kill any citizen you see" zone. They made millions homeless.

Like common.

That's a rather strange way of describing evacuation zones which Israel announces to reduce civilian casualties.

> They made millions homeless.

When one starts a war, loses and then refuses to surrender or negotiate a peace deal...that's not exactly surprising.

These wars would only ever end if every force in the middle east that offers resistance to Israel's ambitions are defeated, but that resistance is both inevitable and offers the exact justification needed to implement said ambitions, its wonderfully circular.

In Gaza they literally pulverized entire cities [1], making them uninhabitable, this isn't even really a war on terror by the western mainstream's standards, its a war on concrete paid for with american tax payer bombs and bulldozers. They are replicating that same exact playbook in Lebanon right now [2]. How morally bankrupt or completely misinformed do you have to be, to support this absolute barbarism at this point.

Obviously if there are terrorist attacks coming from a neighboring country then one would expect retaliation. You seem to be arguing terrorist attacks don't justify a response.

> In Gaza they literally pulverized entire cities [1], making them uninhabitable

That's not unexpected when there are military tunnels under the cities. How else could they be eliminated?

> this isn't even really a war on terror by the western mainstream's standards

The western war on terror also had plenty of casualties.[0]
