I found this to be an interesting article with background on the fund and details of the actual sale that were missing from other conversations on HN I had already read.

It was surprising to see an empty HN comment section before I realized everyone else saw a paywall. It's a shame that conversation will often naturally gravitate towards cheaper articles that just regurgitate information without any research or analysis but don't have a barrier. I think that it makes all the commenters a little more likely to be ignorant. ( I know I would of been )

After reading the article is not as good as others, and maybe this has been discussed plenty already here, therefore the low amount of comments.

Is hard to see how this situation is different from FTX minus the fraud :-)

Its like a mix of Long-Term Capital Management minus the Nobel prizes and the experience in trading, with Citadel who is known to have a FULL market vision, probably playing the other side in ways that the article did not even touched, and therefore makes it so much worst.
