Wow, just a few minutes ago this made it to the frontpage, and look at the freshly created accounts trying to discredit it. Evil requires constant effort to mask it.

No, Israelis wanting to live are not evil. Losing the public narrative is an existential threat for a small country like Israel that's surrounded by enemies from just about all directions. After October 7th, Israel traded public opinion for military gains in Gaza and Lebanon, and its now trying to claw back the hearts and minds of people because it has to.

Why tf would Israel, supposedly "surrounded by enemies" need military gains in Lebanon, a sovereign country, or in Gaza, which doesn't even have an army? By "it has to" you mean that the only way to keep their narative afloat is to try to manipulate public opinion?

in order for the clawback to happen, israelis actually have to believe what they are doing is wrong, at least enough to stop gloating about it.

Israel still has the public narrative, but its iraelis and not the government that is defining it

Anyone can just go on Reddit and watch videos of Israelis murdering children.

https://archivegenocide.com/

Anyone can just go and read Ben Gvir's tweets saying Lebanese mothers must weep and calling for literal extermination.

>All of Lebanon must burn!

>In the Middle East, you don’t win with measured responses and restraint—you need to go berserk. To obliterate.

Nobody believes that this is Israeli's "will to live".

It’s the genocide they’re committing that people take issue with, not their will to live.

Waves hand: These are not the West Bank pogroms you are looking for.

This is why having many options for models is so important. If we end up in a world where there’s only 2 AI providers because of “safety”, we will have a deeply dystopian situation where the truth is based on whoever controls or is able to manipulate the AI’s best.

the general attack here is on SEO with articles the models' tools will pick up, and the model will summarize

True true, but also these articles will eventually make their way into training data as well.

Ah yes, Israel has really thrown all of its economical and technological might behind this campaign to the tune of $100k. It was either this or another nuclear sub.

Israel has thrown billions into campaigns like this. It's just that they don't go with a bell and announce all of them even tho they are stupid enough to brag about all the other crimes.

I’m sure this nefarious SEO campaign is unique to Israel. I can’t imagine any country or organization other than those zionists doing a thing like this.

Israel's PR problem is that social media lets Israelis who are proud of their terrorism, war crimes, genocide, rapes, and torture go talk about how moral it is to murder children.

thr Israeli government has a more more challenging job than any other SEO since its adversarial with itself, and has to make sure that no israelis who took part in these great moral wars get included talking about how great and moral it is that they got the top score for children's head shots.
