As an owner of an original framework 12 I will probably get the fingerprint reader, I underestimated how much I ended up missing it. Upgrading the CPU for better battery life does not seem worth it to me though.

Man that's the coolest part of this brand. It's so awesome to just be able to say "I will probably get the fingerprint reader" and just leave it at that.

Mine works without any issues, hard to say if I got lucky or if the number of issues are not as bad as it seems judging by shared experiences.
