I meant "don't go out of your way to prove that you are not AI".

Why go out of your way to differentiate yourself from something that by your estimate produces 99% crap? From a design perspective is adding more visuals on top of a visual optimal for a user's experience on the web page? Should taste be sacrificed for whimsy?

Don't go out of your way to prove that you are not AI. I suggest going out of your way to prove that you are totally oblivious to its existence—whether you use it or not—in all of you public facing work.

I'm looking forward to episode 2!

That's fair! I guess my idea with this series is to highlight some typical places where you see lots of AI slop, where most people don't want to go the extra mile, but where doing so can help you establish as a brand.
