Scientists Find a Subtle Clue to ADHD Hidden in the Eyes

Interesting I guess, but we'll see if it holds up and anything results from it. It'd be great to have an easy way to discover people who could benefit from being treated for ADHD, but I'm guessing that if we had a clear test for it we'd find that some people who didn't test positive for ADHD still had major benefits from treatment for it and we'd end up with new not-ADHD but still ADHD-like conditions people will be diagnosed with.

From a medical standpoint that'd be an improvement because we'd be better able to identify, research, and target the various ADHD-like conditions, but I'm guessing that it'd also make it harder for some people to get treatment. Insurance companies might cut off treatment for people who don't pass the test for example.
