LinkedIn is a terrible quality website

Seems like boiling a frog to me and the users/people haven't started to jump out yet. The website is horrible but basically everyone is still on it because of FOMO or something.

I do not have a linkedin account.

To me it is painful to see part of the former twittersphere now engaging more on LI than in the past. We would deserve better alternatives.

I certainly agree with you, but this can't be news. It seems to have been slow and buggy for at least the last 10 years.

It's slow because AI runs continuously behind the scenes tracking you non-stop, if you type, if you navigate, if you click somewhere, and so forth...I have the impression that every single end point belongs to different webservice, because if I refresh it, sometimes it fetches partial data, sometimes it won't pull anything at all, and at random times it works as expected.

In conclusion, LinkedIn is dead as we once knew it and has become a massive AI slop, a dating app believe it or not(!), and full of narcissists that have supposedly succeeded in life, trying to convince themselves with their own lies. PATHETIC!

Their mini sudoku is best!

It has been around for a while when you layer code on code it does not feel good over time.

I think its actually deliberately slow. They dont want people automating activity like mass messaging, or mass commenting on stuff

I think the worse thing is, it has become purely AI slop and posts are mostly low quality.
