Unreal Tournament 2004 is now available for free thanks to its fan community

Watching that trailer and bringing back memories of how this was basically the demo title to showcase Unreal Engine 3 (or the foundations of what would become that), it’s fun to see how much it was clearly inspired by Halo coming on the scene, and how much of Mass Effect 1 is there as far as engine coding.

Fond memories of playing CTF mode in a demo cd which came with digit magazine. I bought UT 2004 a while ago from Steam before they removed it. And I play it from time to time. Still fun!

I was so addicted to this back in the day, I dare not download this.
