Savvy ex-YC startup Software Engineer, great at taking a project from 0 to 1 and 1 to 10. My background was initially in React and the frontend world, but I've since transitioned to being a more Go/backend-heavy developer working on high-throughput systems. Clocking in at 9 years of experience, I have worked the full gamut, from early stage startups to Fortune 500 companies — and would love to join a team focused on building a great product for the user. You might want to hire me if you have a need for someone who has both business/finance intuition and also software skills.

My most recent project has been about having an intelligent layer of self-replicating, perpetual AI "agent" layers (akin to Bobiverse series) between me and my homelab[1]. I should have to do the bare minimum to interact with my homelab -- it should for the most part, run by itself. I recently spoke on Linux Unplugged Podcast Ep 652 [2] about this project as well.

Seasoned product engineer (~20 years). Recently helped YC company Attunement launch its first products; last year led and built an AI experience for Beetlejuice that scaled to millions of users. I specialize in turning zero-to-one ideas into profitable, scalable products. I am interested in doing deeper AI work, relative to training models, and or solving hard problems.
Senior full-stack + applied-AI engineer. I take ideas to production without supervision.
Recent shipped work: - EventConnectHQ (freelance, solo): designed full system architecture and shipped a production MVP in 3 months — backend, REST APIs, modular React frontend, CI/CD, post-launch monitoring - Workzen: architected an AI hiring platform with GPT + LangChain pipelines for parsing, scoring, and multi-step orchestration. Integrated ATS, calendar, email, Slack via REST + webhooks - Production RAG knowledge engine: vector indexing (Pinecone/FAISS), intelligent caching, low-latency semantic search across large unstructured corpora - Aether: peer-to-peer iOS mesh app — multi-hop flood routing, store-and-forward, push-to-talk audio (Swift, SwiftUI, MultipeerConnectivity) - Hurricane: terminal-based AI coding assistant with modular execution pipelines and iterative refinement loops
Best fit: AI-product teams that need someone to own an LLM feature end-to-end (prompts → evals → RAG → deploy → monitor), or founders who need a 90-day MVP shipped without a team.

Software engineer with 6+ years of startup experience building AI-powered products — production systems with real infrastructure, not API wrappers.
Most recently, I built an AI-powered media intelligence platform(https://youtu.be/manjyiUsfU8) for filmmakers from zero to production in 4 months as the sole engineer — featuring agentic RAG across video, audio, image, and PDF archives, coordinating 5 AI APIs with automatic failure recovery, and processing 8.5 hours of video in under 35 minutes. I also built an automated CI/CD pipeline with macOS code signing & notarization (https://youtu.be/-DSCZX3uG_c).
Stack: JavaScript, React, Next.js, TypeScript, Go, PostgreSQL, GCP, FFmpeg, GraphQL, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform
Open to contract.
- Co-founded a Brazilian B2B SaaS Startup (FoodTech/AgTech) 3 years ago, leading end-to-end product development. Reached 1k+ users within 10 months. Today, it's backed by an international investor with current valuation close to $1M.
- Founding Engineer at a Sweden-based startup, "owning" (main responsible for) the codebase and product architecture (with a lot of hands-on), from pre-seed through funding and team scaling.
- Built AI-driven systems across US and EU companies, including underwriting workflows (fintech, US) and real-time meeting intelligence pipelines (Germany)
- Graduated Systems Analyst and Developer. Currently pursuing MBA in Big Data (only 2 months to finish). Certified Oracle AI Foundations Associate and JavaScript/TypeScript Platform Developer. 60+ DEV/ENG/Leadership course certificates.

I work on infrastructure and backend systems, with experience running production workloads.
At Syngenta, I helped scale AWS infrastructure across 100+ accounts, improving reliability and driving ~$500K in annual cost savings. At State Street, I built an internal AI system (RAG-based) and automation tooling that reduced manual setup effort by ~60% and improved developer workflows.
I enjoy owning systems end-to-end, from design to production, especially where reliability, performance, and real-world usage matter. Looking for roles in infrastructure, platform, or AI systems where I can ship and iterate quickly.

Technologies: Rust, TypeScript, Node.js, Cloudflare Workers, edge compute, audit-trail / cryptographic-provenance systems (SHA-256, RFC 8785 JCS canonicalization), AI inference proxying, full-stack web, PostgreSQL.
Résumé/CV: https://jakejoyner.com/cv/
Email: jakejoyner9@gmail.com
I'm building AILedger (ailedger.dev) — tamper-evident chain of custody for every AI inference an enterprise's product makes, aimed at the EU AI Act Article 12 / Article 79 compliance question (enforcement August 2, 2026). Pre-revenue, in early customer conversations. Public Rust work at github.com/jakejjoyner.
Primarily seeking short-term contract work (4-12 weeks, ~20-30 hr/week, $150/hr) to fund AILedger's runway. Open to fractional-engineer engagements. Will consider full-time only if exceptionally aligned with the AILedger thesis — compliance / AI infrastructure / audit / Cloudflare-edge stack.
Strongest fit:
- Audit / compliance-adjacent infrastructure: tamper-evident logging, evidence collection, SOC 2 / AI Act prep, cryptographic provenance.
- Cloudflare Workers / edge compute / API proxying — including AI inference middleware (cost metering, prompt-injection defense, observability).
- Rust greenfield, or Rust-meets-TypeScript stacks.
- Full-stack product work where correctness matters more than ship-speed.
I'm good at communicating clearly: my interactive article on multi-word expressions in English trended on Hacker News in February.
Looking for an applied AI role at a smaller company where I can help you strategize, build, and deploy. I'd shine on developer tools, learning platforms, knowledge products, creative AI, thinky games, or anything that needs to be more accessible to users.
Senior engineer with 12 years of experience in Ruby on Rails. I'm a strong generalist who quickly builds deep understanding of codebases, systems, and product context.
I care about quality, reliability, and maintainability, and I particularly enjoy refactoring existing code improve those aspects. I aim to solve immediate problems in ways that also support the broader product vision.
I consistently look for opportunities to reduce friction, improving the experience for both users and developers. For example, I built [activerecord_where_assoc](https://github.com/MaxLap/activerecord_where_assoc), a Ruby library with over 1.5 million downloads.
Open to full-time and part-time engagements.

I build AI agent infrastructure, most recently Tracea (tracea.dev), an open-source observability platform for AI agent teams that patches the HTTP transport layer to trace LLM calls without framework changes. Also built ObservAgent (300+ users, open source) and published research on GRPO fine-tuning for medical reasoning (+11% accuracy over SFT baseline).
Looking for full-stack or AI/ML engineering roles at early-stage startups or growth-stage companies where I can work on production AI systems with high ownership and real impact. Strong preference for roles involving LLM integration, agent infrastructure, or AI observability.
There are 2 kinds of documentation: how to make something and how to use something. They are very different. When you are making something you need to document what it is supposed to do (because the code tells us what it does and bugs are when it does something incorrect). You also need to document why you decided to do it that way so when you go back in 6 months you can pick up more easily. When you are making user docs you need to think like a user, mainly assuming they never used it before, and they just want to get that task done so they can do all the other tasks they have to do. Documentation is customer facing because when docs work, customers learn to trust you.
I create documentation that builds trust and help customers use the product successfully. I reduced tech support calls by 60% and increased support website lists by 40%.

Hello there, I am a full-stack developer based in BC, Canada, with experience in tools like JavaScript/TS, React, Node.js, Express, and Postgres, and I am also comfortable working with AWS and AI(rag/agents). I recently developed Rabbitory, an open-source RabbitMQ deployment/management platform (https://rabbitory.github.io/). I also built a Datadog LLM trace exporter for Mastra AI (https://mastra.ai/docs/observability/tracing/exporters/datad...).
My background spans AI engineering, full-stack development, and systems design. I’ve shipped production-grade tools under real constraints, including a data science competition platform that handled sustained load for a hackathon we hosted at IEEE INSAT, an AI CLI assistant with 230+ GitHub stars and +800 Docker pulls, and an IoT anomaly detection engine for live solar sensor data for a winning hackathon project. Most recently, I’ve been building a multi-agent clinical reasoning platform at my part-time at a biotech startup alongside my studies.
I'm looking for remote internships or part-time positions in backend or AI.
My preferred next career move is independent contracting. 6-12 months contracts ideally. I will also consider permanent fully remote positions, but only quite senior ones - Staff Engineer / Architect level.
I've been fully remote since 2018 and I intend to keep it that way.

I build systems that replace the spreadsheet-and-Slack-message chaos that quietly costs companies 20+ hours a week.
At a US marketing agency, I own the entire automation layer: lead qualification bots, AI-driven customer support pipelines, and internal reporting that used to need 3 people.
A few things I've shipped:
- An AI support agent that finds out the reason for the overdue tickets.
- Scraping pipeline that tracks 50k+ real estate listings daily without getting blocked.
I don't just write code. I sit with the ops problem first, then build the smallest system that solves it permanently.

Just about done finishing up a CS master's degree, and looking for opportunities starting in the late summer or fall. My background is in programming language theory (particularly logic/relational programming), so would be very happy to work with functional languages, compilers, automated reasoning, and/or formal verification. I also have a background in music (I'm a published composer!) so particularly interested in audio/music-related stuff as well. Open both to software enginering roles and research positions (anyone looking for new PhD/doctoral students?) I've also done full-stack work across databases/cloud infrastructure/web APIs/frontends, and independently released a commercial music production plugin (Pivotuner, more info on my website).
I'm very interested in deep learning, formal verification, and compliance automation, but also artificial life, complexity science, robotics, cybernetics (as in Beer), computational social sciences, network science, transit, city planning, etc.
I use Claude Code happily at work, as directed, and seen significant (though not unqualified) productivity gains. I've used it to varying degrees on different personal projects. I'm avoiding it now on personal projects (to retain and build skill). I can work anywhere along that spectrum.
I enjoy learning about what other people are working on, so even if you're not hiring or not interested in hiring _me_, I'd love to connect. I've had some genuinely transformative conversations with people I've met on HN, and I'd love to have more.

Looking for freelance clients/projects and part-time opportunities.
Would love to work with universities, research institutes, public good non-profits, and so forth but open to working with all kinds of wonderful people!
Work-life balance is my goal over getting rich; if you support my lifestyle then I am happy to reciprocate with my time & skills.
At home, you can find me homesteading and exploring merging tech knowledge with the natural, real world. Currently refreshing my old electronics skills to build sensors and automation systems for various projects around the house (e.g. growing food, rain water collection, etc..)
I have recently traveled to Boston a few times (its ~3 hours by train) and its amazing! Would love to make some connections down there as well. I can't come down every day but am open-minded to dropping in every once in a while.
I also really want to check out MIT (swap meet & library!), FSF, and all of this super cool culture in Boston that was too far away when I used to live in Ohio.

I'm an independent software architect. Companies bring me in for the painful infra and backend projects their team can't get to without derailing core work, usually migrations, reliability fixes, and cost takeouts.
Recent: AWS to GCP migration saving $5K/month with zero downtime. Cassandra to DynamoDB migration, no downtime. Build times 30min to 3min, success rate 70% to 97%. Once replaced a planned 2-month rewrite with a 6-line diff.
Background: 6 years at Facebook (reliability/performance/security at billion-user scale), then architect at two growth-stage startups. Independent since 2025.
Best fit: growth-stage company with a defined infra-shaped problem and budget to have someone senior own it end-to-end. Probably not the right call for ongoing IC work or pure feature delivery. I work fixed-price when scope is clear, hourly when it isn't.

Technologies: Full stack web dev for 15+ years in many forms. In recent years I've been focused on game development projects using Babylon/WebGL and working with C++ & Go server-side (MMO servers). Many years of project and product management as well.
I have some cool projects! See my personal site for email and some of those projects:
https://brynnbateman.com/
Coolest released one is probably https://www.idlequest.net/, which is an idle-game web-based version of classic EverQuest, complete with its original 3D graphics in-browser and a real-time MMO server! Had up to 70 players online at the same time a month or two ago.
About to release my biggest project, which is a full reverse engineering and re-implementation of the 2007 MMORPG "Vanguard".
Looking largely for product engineering positions, or project/product management style work. Have done both and enjoy both a lot. Open to contracting or full-time.

General use developer/architect/lead for those keywords above or other keywords.
Used to working independently, architecturizing and/or coordinating tiny teams.
Have carried a lot of customer's bits from wherever they were generated to wherever they were needed. Either just talking to sensors or doing the whole chain, daemons and GUIs if the project required them.
Have done software archaeology on mature code bases and fixed/improved them. As a matter of fact that's what I'm doing now, bringing an old native windows application to the 21st century.
Not necessarily looking for full time employment, if someone just wants to get to know people via part time / fixed duration projects, that would be just fine(tm). Especially if they're a smaller organization, i might do better in one of those.

I started working with AI back in 2014 and consider myself one of the early vibe coders. I’m interested in everything related to AI and security, I’ve worked on benchmarks, optimizations, training and inference, tinygrad, H100, B200, DeepSeek etc. I also developed an ultra-fast programming language for executing complex GPU workloads and created a generative OS for it.
Under 25, I created the core of a security scanner and built a hacking team at a UK startup ($7M investment). We removed the GIL from Python to run 30,000 threads and scan 18,000 exchange IPs for malware overnight.
I have many achievements, I created a Top-10 music app on the App Store and an Instagram filter editor for a social network that had 28,000 users at launch.
I worked on a top-30 cryptocurrency in AI and built a better version of BitChat.

I'm graduating in a month, so I'm seeking junior/graduate-level roles that revolve around backend and systems development where I can learn a lot. My experience includes four internships and multiple side projects (please check my resume and GitHub).
I started programming on my own at the age of 15. Since then, I have explored multiple areas, including mobile app development (native and Flutter), web development (React, Next.js, Vue), QA, MLOps, and AI/ML. During this exploration phase, I realized that I want to focus my career on backend development.
Most of my coding experience is in Java and Python. I also really enjoy Kotlin and am currently learning Go (Golang) by building a simple VPN as a side project. However, I am not limited only to these languages.

My focus has been on browser automation and building browser agents since 2018, with 13 years of enterprise experience building dynamic data user interfaces for web and mobile. I have experience working at both medium 130 person AI companies and small, fast-moving 7 person teams wearing many different hats, which I prefer. I have been instrumental in taking multiple companies from 0 to 1, both as a consultant and as a full-time employee in media, real estate, marketing, streaming services, education, and fintech.

Hi! I'm a backend engineer (~8 YOE) with strong backend & DevOps experience and decent frontend skills. Looking for a backend or backend-leaning full-stack role.
I worked at Automattic (US), the company behind WordPress; fully remote, async teams across the globe.
I've worked with time-sensitive, high-throughput, distributed services (millions of ops daily) and owned features and small- to mid-sized projects end-to-end from tech design to deployment. I do my best working autonomously, and I like to think of myself as a generalist.
I've been part of teams focused on speed and rapid iteration, and I've also worked on high-quality systems where long-term maintainability and reliability matter the most. I'm a pretty flexible and adaptable person.
Remote-first, with a reliable 4-hour daily overlap with US business hours; invoicing/tax admin handled on my side. Work authorization in US (SS/EIN) and Spain (NIE). Note: Spanish availability is limited due to DNV limitations of no more than 20% revenue sourced from Spanish companies.
Location: Valencia, Spain

Hi, I'm Hajo. 20+ years shipping production systems, 12+ as CTO. I'm a fractional CTO and I offer AI R&D, performance optimization, and due diligence as freelance consulting services. You might know me from:
ImageRights: sole architect, 10+ years in prod. Web crawling stack (5000+ concurrent tasks via Ansible), distributed C++ content-based image retrieval database scaling to billions of web images, all internal AI filters, plus workflow automation. Still running today.
Spatial Audio Designer: sole developer. 500+ channels real-time on 2013 hardware. NEON / AVX-vectorized DSP, plugins for VST / RTAS / AU / AAX, kernel drivers for virtual sound cards on Mac and Windows, ARM port for embedded and VR. Still in use by famous Hollywood studios.
And yesterday, I figured out how to make MSFS2024 run with multi-camera and instrument pop-outs in Proton 11. Understanding the root cause required tracing the full stack from inside the game, through vkd3d, Proton, the host Linux OS, down to the GPU driver.
Ideally, I'm looking for 5-10 days per month part-time projects. Plus I'd love to work on applied AI / robotics.
I'll finish a myPhD in NLP this June. During my PhD, I built NLP systems that work under limited data and developed methods to evaluate what language models learn and how they behave.
Now I want a research engineer or applied scientist role working on LLM evaluation and data-efficient training. Available from July 1st.

Lately I'm deep in the spaces between data science and engineering reliable, high-performance, resilient, yet highly-usable tools for scientists and other developers, across the stack. It's a lot of fun.
I'm also very interested in harness development and creating more deterministic agents with safety and behaviour guarantees.
My work experience is diverse, ranging from SaaS to science to a bit of firmware and robots. I'm interested in just about anything so long as it's genuinely useful, challenging, and the team is excited about it.
- In my current role, I've worked on a wide range of projects including backend systems, mobile applications, data pipelines and predictive modeling, and many production applications built around Ethereum.
- For the past two years I've also been doing ML research focused on mechanistic interpretability and LLM evaluations.
- Open to general SWE, ML/AI engineering, or anything in between. Full-time or contract both work for me. My contact info is on the resume site.

I'm currently working on spec work with criminology typologies of victim disposal in serious crime. Recently building EZThrottle — a system designed to coordinate API traffic, retries, and fairness across multi-tenant and agent-driven workloads. Think: preventing retry storms, smoothing partial outages, and making backend systems more predictable under chaotic load.
I care a lot about: - Reliability under real-world failure conditions (partial outages > total outages) - Multi-tenant fairness and traffic shaping - Systems that reduce operational burden, not add to it

I've worked as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) for over 12 years across startups, midsize, and FAANG companies with a focus on automating tests and processes which are often repetitively mundane or large time sinks. This ranges from writing said automated tests for web and mobile devices to the frameworks that run them. I also have experience in managing teams of people that take care of these tasks.
I enjoy the time saving nature of automation and have a genuine interest in maintaining a high degree of product quality. While my work has been SDET related up until now, I am open to developer roles as well since there is a high degree of overlap.
If you would like to get to know more about my experience work wise or personal projects feel free to send me an email.
Recent technical write-up and open-source project I made that reached #1 on HackerNews: https://ptx2.net/posts/unbricking-a-bike-with-a-raspberry-pi
Some things I've designed/built/launched/maintained professionally: high-traffic web frontend/backends, realtime interactive graphics apps, data visualizations, computer vision apps, firmware, reverse engineering, video/image processing, apis, api integrations (payments/social/data), distributed systems, linux sysadmin, refactoring/maintaining legacy systems, managing small engineering teams, remote work, customer facing work.
Some areas of interest: the outdoors, health and fitness, art, music, environment, games, human computer interaction, product design, ui/ux, embedded/iot devices, privacy, security, networking, optimization, unusual companies/products, web, linux.
Looking for interesting software engineer or tech co-founder/director/advisor opportunities!
I've also recently deployed Electric Minds Reborn[0], a revival of a 1990's era virtual community using original data and a new software system written in Go, the Amsterdam Web Communities System[1]. Just to expand my horizons.

Well-balanced "Jill of All Trades" Ecommerce Marketing / Website Marketing professional with a track record of doubling conversion rates in 6-12 months and helping startups make a profit--not just bring in revenue. Startup experience includes telehealth brands Nurx and Thirty Madison, where my product/service-line launches, SEO, testing, CRO and collaboration skills led Nurx to its first profitable year as a startup in 2022 (launched in 2015, I joined in Sept. 2021). Additional startup experience includes the ecommerce agency SuperOrdinary, where I strategized and implemented data-driven optimizations for 19 brands on Amazon. I managed mostly beauty/skincare brands, such as Tower 28, Erno Laszlo, Shani Darden, Nailboo, The Inkey List and Archipelago Botanicals. However, I also worked very closely with GE Lighting on its Amazon and website optimizations.
After taking a [physical] health-related break, I am ready to help yet another startup reach new heights--preferably in healthcare/health & wellness, sports, entertainment or technology, but I'm open to all interest, LinkedIn connections and referrals!
I spent a decade as CTO at EMEX, growing the engineering team from scratch through private equity acquisition. Today I operate through Brightform Technology, working with founders who need senior-level engineering without a full-time hire. The kind of problems where product sense and architectural judgment matter as much as code output.
Past work:
* Led all frontend architecture for an IoT platform processing high-volume sensor data across nationwide deployments. Built real-time building floorplan visualization, time-series HVAC dashboards, and a modular device configuration system.
* First engineering hire → CTO at EMEX. Built the flagship real-time reverse auction platform that drove seven-figure annual sales. Grew and led a team of 6 through acquisition.
Best fit: founders with a clear idea and the budget to move fast. You might have Figma mockups, a vibe-coded prototype, or just a well-defined concept. I bring product direction alongside the engineering.

Hi, i'm Samir. I'm a junior software engineer with a B.Sc. in Mathematics & Computer Science (Data Science). I recently completed a contract at an AI startup where I built data-intensive React UIs. I also developed REST API endpoints, implemented full authentication flow with WorkOS, automated end-to-end type safety between FastAPI backend and react frontend and added CI/CD pipelines on GitHub Actions. I've also worked on some side projects like a Job Tracker SaaS and a Legal AI RAG assistant. Looking for my next full-time opportunity in backend, full-stack, or AI-adjacent roles.

I founded a real estate development+proptech company, exited an 8-figure gdv residential project and recently sold a decision-support saas for new-development underwriting.
Before that, I did ML research (session-based recsys, re-reranking, model selection optimization), product management at an early-stage vc, and built other end-to-end full-stack AI products that helped real estate brokerages and developers automate more than 150 hours per month in manual research and analysis workflows, increasing their project output by more then 50%.

What I’ve been working on lately:
LLM introspection tooling and observability, mainly around token-level behavior during inference; Also experimented with inference-time interventions (no retraining) e.g. improved DeBERTa on HANS via targeted layer/head adjustments.
I just put up a small demo of part of the tooling (HF Space):
https://huggingface.co/spaces/anotheruserishere/Cartogemma
It exposes:
-per-head projections into token space (logit lens-style)
-token rank changes across layers for target-tokens ("rank displacement")
-top-k next-token branches with internal state views
-mute a head at a given L x H coordinate
-inject tokens or rewind context
There's a minimal example in the UI showing how token candidates stabilize (or don’t) across layers
Background: ~15 years in data science/ analytics (higher ed), mostly translating technical work into decisions & policy for leadership. More recently focused on LLM internals + tooling (Python/Rust, local model stacks, etc.) and agentic analytical tools for operational use. Background in philosophy / applied linguistics & NLP; previously designed and taught a course on propaganda (how language shapes reactions to media etc.).
Looking for: roles around LLM tooling, evals, interpretability, or applied AI where understanding model behavior is useful.
Tech: Python, Rust, SQL, embeddings, local LLM infra

Full-stack engineer, ~10 years. Currently at PayMongo (YC S19), shipping end-to-end — frontend, backend, infra, rollout.
- Rebuilt the merchant dashboard in Next.js
- Migrated paymongo.com off Webflow to Next.js + Ghost on AWS
- PIC on the React Native merchant app — OTP/KYC onboarding, USDC/USDT wallet with custody partners.
- Built the internal employee dashboard now used by Compliance, Finance, and PayOps.
Looking for remote full-stack roles. Bonus: payments/fintech.
Most interested in observability platforms, data infrastructure, and AI engineering broadly — anywhere AI is sharpening human judgment rather than displacing it. Currently building out infrastructure tooling in Go using agentic workflows (Claude Code).
Works across the stack — each layer has its own problems worth solving. Publishes on engineering decision frameworks and AI-augmented development workflows.
Pursuing CKA. Not interested in defense, crypto, or gambling.

Background: Masters in control theory and signal processing, working in the auto industry for the last 7 years, first on low level powertrain software then the last year or so on LIDAR/computer vision for autonomous vehicles. I've done the most work in C, but I'm now contributing to safety development work with the Rust consortium and Ferrous Systems through my current employer. Recently had to read the Linux kernel source and use the BCC tool suite to find a subtle issue in the network stack causing high latency on sensor data for AV, also coincidentally fixed most of the network timing infrastructure.
Currently doing software defined vehicle software architecture with a focus on fail-safe and fail-operational, loosely coupled, distributed systems. This includes some standards contributions and work with high level suppliers like Nvidia and Renesas for next-generation software/hardware system co-development.
Primary skills include hard real time embedded systems, safety critical applications, firmware development, system integration and complex hardware/software interaction debugging, along with detailed data analysis problems.
Side interests include machining, 3D printing, embedded system development, coffee roasting and furniture making.
Most recently built Ginkgo Bioworks' ML model serving platform and multi-tenant GKE infrastructure from scratch (joined via the Reverie Labs acquisition). Before that, was sole infra engineer at Reverie — built their entire AWS platform from the first commit, ran EKS clusters, and supported GPU workloads for computational drug discovery.

We’re a small group of senior engineers who help non‑technical AI founders take fragile MVPs to production‑ready systems. We come in as fractional founding engineers: review code, fix architecture, ship.
Hiring: Senior Consulting Engineers (part‑time/contract)
Looking for experienced engineers who: - Enjoy advising non‑technical founders - Are comfortable reviewing AI‑generated code (Next.js, TypeScript, Python, major cloud providers) - Have shipped production systems end‑to‑end and can explain technical trade‑offs to non‑engineers - Have actually used AI tools in their own side projects or daily workflow - Can handle a mix of architecture reviews, roadmap planning, and hands‑on implementation
Details: - Part‑time/contract to start (typical 5–20 hours/week, flexible) - Fully remote with meaningful overlap with US daytime - Work directly with early‑stage AI founders on short, high‑leverage projects
Compensation: market‑rate contracting, typically 100–200/hr depending on experience and scope Apply: Email humans@intheloop.engineering with “HN – Human” in the subject, and a brief note on your background, availability (hours/week), and the kind of work you enjoy most.

15 years in tech doing a job that has a lot of names depending on the company — platform engineer, support engineer, internal developer advocate — but always the same core function: making sure the humans using internal infrastructure aren't left to figure it out alone. At Atlassian I was embedded with the security platform team, sitting in sprint planning, tracking support patterns, and making sure user pain shaped the roadmap rather than being tossed in the backlog pile. If your platform team is building great things that nobody can figure out how to use or troubleshoot, that's the problem I'm good at solving.
I lead a global volunteer team and take full product ownership: setting direction over multi-year horizons, planning and implementing architectural migrations, and keeping a project moving via community engagement, triage, fixes, reviews and mentorship.

Software engineer with 30+ years building production-ready business applications and 3+ years as a core database engineer building high-performance RDBMs.
Founder and principal engineer of small ISV with a long track record of owning complex systems end-to-end, from low-level design to production reliability.
Driven to learn new domains quickly and choose the simplest effective architecture, tools and paradigms for each problem.
Currently employed but looking to build relationships with teams that value craftsmanship and velocity to grow my skills faster. I'm offering competitive rates ($60-90/hr) prioritizing team culture and interesting problems over maximizing income.
What I bring:
- Taste for type safety
- Pragmatic mindset (planning my solutions for regular delivery and avoid delay or drift)
- Dev tooling expertise (recently: custom Babel AST analyzers for faster debugging)
- Proactive problem-solver who likes to improve processes
Ideal projects:
- Teams with strong engineering culture who build ambitious things cleanly and fast
- Greenfield development or systematic refactoring
- Bonus: Highly formal/industrial model-driven environments and FP/Logic Programming environments (Clojure, Haskell, Prolog)
I'm a Senior DevOps engineer, Cloud Architect and Infrastructure Engineer.
I provide contract or ad-hoc services and support to startups, growth companies and enterprises. I'm often called to set up greenfield DevOps installations, architect and build cloud infrastructures, design platform architectures, build cloud-based, SaaS and mobile products and assist with emergency or short-staffed situations.
I also provide fixed-price services which are often ideal for startups: Azure / AWS cloud builds; DevOps greenfield setup; security / DevOps reviews; alerting / monitoring builds; training; support; emergency services.

Senior software engineer, 20+ years on production systems. Working on neural nets since 1996 (neuroevolution, genetic programming) — multiple AI cycles' worth of perspective on what survives the hype. Currently building a regulatory forecasting system for Polish law: ingesting statutes back to 1944, building a graph of legislation and amendments, reasoning about where the regulatory surface is moving. The hard problems are PDF → structured graph at scale and reasoning under uncertainty, not the model wrapper.
I also write about where AI coding agents actually work and where they quietly fail.
Best fit when the work is engineering-shaped — application/data rather than infra/SRE/Kubernetes-heavy — and the schedule overlaps EU hours. Comfortable as autonomous IC or small-team tech lead. Domains where messy real-world data meets non-trivial reasoning are where I'm sharpest — regulatory, legal, scientific, financial.

Most of my background in software is from doing game development in C++ back in the day as a hobby (as you may be able to tell from the heavily WIP website), but I'm rusty, as I switched to Godot many years ago.
I'm looking for a new job that won't compromise on my current work-life balance and pays enough to justify living in the city (>120 a year).
I probably wouldn't pass a technical interview, but I'm open to (and enjoy) learning new stuff. The industry you're in doesn't matter, but you will get bonus points if you're working on a meaningful problem like climate.
No drama. I don't want to run your company or lord over a tribe. The best fit is a situation where you need something done, you set the direction and constraints, then I bring you options to get it done and deliver it.

I've mostly been a first or founding engineer, owning systems that have to scale early. I focus on high-throughput pipelines, messaging systems, media transcoding, and recommendations—areas where issues show up under load, retries, and edge cases.
I also build real-time dashboards to observe and control these systems, using local-first approaches and browser-based technologies for media processing and realtime communication.
- Messaging systems delivering millions of emails and push notifications in minutes (retries, deliverability, observability)
- Browser-based video editing and encoding platform using FFmpeg, Supabase, and AWS
- Real-time pipelines and recommendation systems for tens of millions of users
- Scaled event ingestion ~100x for analytics and experimentation
I do my best work in small, product-focused teams, owning systems end-to-end, staying close to production, and communicating early around risks and tradeoffs.
- Founding or early engineering roles (full-time, part-time, or contract)
- Backend or infrastructure-heavy work
- Products with real users or a clear path to them

Principal, Agentic Engineering Systems · "I ship with agents."
PhD Mathematics · 15+ years production AI/ML.
I build self-improving engineering systems that ship PRs against real enterprise codebases, including personal agents that learn each engineer's context and expertise, and the harness that keeps them in bounds.
Most recently I led an AI tooling team at a Big 4 professional services firm, building production LLM tooling on open-source agent/RAG components. Before that I designed autonomous engineering systems for real enterprise software workflows. They used the same channels any engineer does: repos, PRs, CI, and Slack.
That work, including unsupervised runs on real production code, made the next bottleneck obvious: capability isn't the hard limit anymore. Authority, trust, and blast radius are.
I've hardened the design into an Agent Harness architecture: authority boundaries, blast-radius scoring, multi-agent consensus, and human approval routing. Other teams reached out to learn the approach.
Background: led MLOps adoption across 30+ business units; drove $48M in annual data-cost reduction; built production RAG and Slackbot systems for public sector and Fortune-scale telecom. ML roots in signal processing, frame theory, NLP, time-series, and applied math. US patent pending.
Looking for work building governed engineering-agent fleets: personal agents that learn each engineer's context and expertise, shared team agents that coordinate across repos and workflows, and the control plane that keeps it safe enough to run in prod. Also a good fit for agentic SDLC platforms, internal AI infrastructure, or principal-architect work. Prefer C2C/1099, open to full-time or fractional.

Expert backend developer primarily focused on data engineering, mission critical/low latency/highly available systems, and AWS (certs: https://www.credly.com/users/jon-north.ad78f0c8). Happy to deal with greenfield or legacy or any mix of the two. I learn new things extremely quickly.
I prefer long term contract work, though I’ll help you with smaller things as well. W2 employment is a possibility if the fit is right. Whatever you’re doing with AI is also fine by me, and I’ll lead/adapt as appropriate.

I'm good at this sort of nitpicky work, spotting and thinking about edge cases. I like getting things exactly right, even though that obviously isn't always possible due to various constraints. I've been kind of wondering if I should get into embedded development; I find it appealing when things are low-level or similarly constrained. I've beaten Microcorruption. :) (The original levels, I haven't played the new ones.)
I'm also quite interested in unusual or obscure data formats, and working on Truffle Debugger and its associated libraries certainly involved a bunch of having to figure undocumented formats and interfaces. :) I put down above what languages I've worked substantially in but I'd say I'm a generalist and will figure out whatever you give me (I knew approximately no Javascript, Typescript, or Solidity when I started working at Consensys).
I'm a mathematician by background and in my spare time, so after the Truffle Debugger project was shut down I took some time off to focus on my mathematical projects, including old ones I've been shepherding through publication. But now I'm looking for work again! If you need someone like me, I'm available for hire!

Former graphic designer turned software developer with 10+ years of professional experience. Most recently, I've been building highly dynamic frontends with React. Prior to that, I was re-writing legacy desktop applications as web based with Vue + Go + Postgres. I'm comfortable working across the stack, and adapting to new (or old!) technologies.
Currently working on a VST plugin in C++, and I have explored a number of other areas over the years. Such as: mobile, games, graphics programming, and embedded systems.
While most of my work has been web focused, I'm open to working in other areas. Check out my website, sectionfourteen.com, for more detailed info.

10+ years building backend services, data pipelines, and on-chain infrastructure.
Most recently founding engineer at Moar Market (leveraged farming on Aptos, ~$7.5M peak TVL) — owned the full stack: Move contracts, indexers, off-chain liquidation engine, DB design, and infra end-to-end.
Before that, tech lead at Hubble Exchange — built a custom EVM-forked L1 for orderbook perps that scaled to 50,000 TPS and 30M+ transactions, including the matching engine, indexing stack, and an SDK for market makers. Earlier: backend at Zomato (Hyperpure greenfield) and Delhivery (WMS, marketplace integrations with Amazon/Paytm).
Recent side project: Deploy Terminal — an MCP-based trading terminal exposing Hyperliquid execution to LLM agents (Claude Code, openclaw etc.) with non-custodial wallet signing via Privy TEE.
Looking for: senior/lead engineer roles. I'm interested in web3, fintech, quant infra, and agentic solutions. Comfortable owning systems end-to-end; prefer small teams shipping fast over large orgs.
Not necessarily looking for full time employment, if someone just wants to do a trial via part time / fixed duration project, that would be even better for a start. My last 3 full time roles started like that.

About: I am a Generative AI Engineer who also happens to be pretty handy across the full stack. Most of my recent work has been building RAG pipelines, AI agents, and natural language search — using LangChain, LangGraph, and vector databases like Pinecone and ChromaDB — with OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini APIs under the hood. I care deeply about shipping GenAI features that hold up beyond the demo stage.
Beyond GenAI, I am working on the full stack — React/TypeScript on the frontend, Node.js or ASP.NET Core APIs on the backend, and AWS/Azure for infra. I like owning things end-to-end and building software that's simple and reliable.

SEEKING FREELANCE WORK | UX/UI & web design
I help startups with the UX/UI and web design of their products. This includes web apps, websites, landing pages, copywriting, and I can assist with frontend development where needed. My background of launching my own products and being a full stack developer helps me create practical designs that balance usability, aesthetics, development effort, and performance. I work to fixed price quotes for self-contained projects.

The best live example of my work is Checkbot (https://checkbot.io/), a browser extension that tests websites for SEO/speed/security problems. The entire project is my own work including coding the extension itself, UX/UI design, website design (the homepage is optimised to load in 0.7 seconds, 0.3MB data transferred), marketing, website copy, and website articles on web best practices.

Résumé/CV:https://www.linkedin.com/in/alvin-lawson-b8300635
Email:al11588@gmail.com
My name is Alvin. I am looking for a developer advocate role, Developer relations, Support engineer role, Backend engineer role, Systems engineer role, DevOps role.
I do AI consulting to quickly deliver the outcomes you want. I'm primarily a founder building my own products, so consulting capacity is intentionally limited. If I take a project on, I deliver the scoped outcome on the agreed timeline. If it's not a fit, I'll tell you up front rather than stretch.
I build production AI features: LLM pipelines, paid AI products end-to-end (billing, licensing, deliverability), real-time data processing. And I ship fast using Claude Code Max + Codex for code review.
Recent shipped work:
- TimeBox — AI-native calendar (Electron + TypeScript, OpenRouter — provider-agnostic, any AI SDK; Supabase). In production, reaching out to potential users.
- PodcastBrief — Enter an Apple Podcast episode URL, get a brief on it with real reference links on all things mentioned, speaker quotes, and key ideas. Automated podcast-to-brief pipeline using Next.js, Railway workers, Deepgram, Browserbase, Arcjet, Stripe.
Problems I can solve:
- Subscription billing + license-key provisioning for paid desktop apps (LS/Stripe webhooks, installer downloads) - Long-running async AI jobs that don't drop work - Media processing pipelines - Anti-abuse on AI endpoints
I do best with early-stage startups that need to ship an AI feature or integration in days or weeks, not quarters. I'm comfortable owning a full vertical — architecture, implementation, deployment.
Rate: Outcome-based, scoped per engagement. No hourly billing. 3 tiers of pricing: basics, enhanced value, and full accountability (above and beyond).
GitHub: https://github.com/emilykangdev | https://trytimebox.app/ | https://podcastbrief.app
I'm a full-stack developer with 3 years of experience building web apps and SaaS products. I've worked with early-stage startups and solo founders to take ideas from zero to a working product.
I'm comfortable owning entire features end-to-end — from architecture decisions to deployment. I communicate clearly, work async, and don't disappear.
Looking for: freelance contracts or part-time engagements with founders who need a reliable technical partner, not just someone to push code.

Hi, I'm Michael Geary. I've programmed in many languages and environments over the years. Some of my current interests are:
• Developer experience. I love helping my fellow developers solve problems, and building tools to make their jobs easier and more enjoyable.
• Aviation and geographic data. For example, airspace and obstacle data importers for Wing; election results and voter information maps for Google; many interactive maps for other companies.
• Hardware interfacing. In a way, I am a "full stack" developer, but my stack may involve a front end to a piece of hardware rather than the cloud. I first got into programming via ham radio, so RF hardware remains an interest.
• Designing and building APIs. Too often an API is designed by exposing the internals of whatever system provides the API. My philosophy is the opposite: start with the apps. I like to build a series of sample apps before starting on the API. This way I can imagine what API will make those apps and others like them easy to build.
• Talk with users! I don't like to sit in a back room cranking out code. I want to make sure it's the right code for what my users need, and that it's easy to maintain and improve as we learn more about what they want.
Open to full time or contract.
I look forward to talking with you!

Like this Ask HN: Recommend employers with positive social impact [https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=31518945], I am looking for similar work, but I am open to work on any interesting project. I am a European software developer who has lived and worked on four continents. Now it's time to move on and so I am in the process to relocate to Africa.
I have more than a decade of experience running a company, doing software development, support and training and mentoring adults and students, as well as working on educational projects, and I am willing to take on a mixture of roles as needed to support a project.
I value good teamwork over fancy tech, and I don't shy away from working on legacy code. I am primarily motivated by solving problems, so let me help you solve your problems.
I am open to work for a company anywhere as long as the work can be done fully remote from Africa.
While I could find a job elsewhere I believe that the experience living in an area where my work is going to have an impact gives me a better understanding of the needs of the location I am serving. Whether it is through direct contact with clients and users or just by being part of a local community and learning about the reality of living there.
In addition, I want to use some of my income to hire local interns and junior developers and train them in order to pass on my experience. I also sponsor children that otherwise can't afford to go to school (see my website). If you want to support this, I would love to work with you. Also if you are interested in hiring African developers yourself. I can help you build up a team for you.

Independent systems developer, 27.
Filed US Provisional Patent #63/942,399 in December 2025 covering an offline memory lifecycle management system for mobile AI. Reference implementation on Android (M3mo Vault): FTS4 + TF-IDF hybrid search at 0.78 microseconds/memory on 10K-entry scale, 7-factor decay algorithm validated via ablation study (12x weight differentiation vs 2x baseline), 7-layer ServiceLocator DI replacing Hilt.
Also building Entropix Engine — a zero-GC browser game engine in vanilla JavaScript sustaining 3,000+ entities at 60 TPS. Structure-of-Arrays memory layout, GridHash spatial partitioning, deterministic fixed-timestep loop, featuring an adaptive grid-sampling fix resolving buffer overflow on high-refresh-rate displays. Live prototype on https://retroindex.org. 60 days into development, 13 milestones shipped. Weekly devlog on r/gamedev.
Past commercial work: scaled an e-commerce operation from $20K/mo to $140K/mo (7x) over 2 years through hand-coded HTML and SEO engineering — 700+ product pages under strict eBay platform constraints (no external CSS/JS allowed), with automated template pipeline reducing launch time 20%.
Background: BS Data Analysis Psychology, UC Davis (2021).
Looking for: contract or full-time remote roles in mobile AI infrastructure, on-device AI memory systems, performance-critical JavaScript/TypeScript, or e-commerce engineering. Open to indie hacker collaborations and Show HN partnerships.

Hi, I'm George. I've been an early-stage startup engineer for about ten years and I'm looking for a product engineering role at a seed to Series B company.
I lean product engineer with a strong infra background. At Neurelo I was the first engineer and ran product alongside the founders — owned the roadmap, talked to design partners, and shaped the developer platform from concept to production. At Paramark there was no dedicated PM, so engineering was the product team in practice; I scoped features with the founders, talked to customers, and shipped end-to-end.
Recent work:
Paramark — Product engineer on a team without a dedicated PM. Owned features end-to-end. Also built internal data tooling and async processing pipelines on Kubernetes that took data prep from days to minutes for the analyst team.
Neurelo (founding engineer) — First engineer; led product alongside the founders and defined the roadmap. Designed the core architecture (Kubernetes-based infra for on-demand isolated customer deployments, systems for schemas and API-driven database access), built the team to eight engineers, and held technical and product direction through an executive transition.
Earlier: Stir (fintech for creators), Alto Pharmacy (led a team of five on patient-facing web/mobile, growth and experimentation), Bill.com (CI/CD work, cut Angular bundle size by 86%), and infra/data roles at Mimosa Networks and Zero Systems. What I'm looking for: a small team, a product I can care about, and room to own real surface area.
Happy to chat — feel free to reach out.

For last 4 years I've been working as CTO of indie game company I co-founded where we shipped 3 commercial game releases funded by publishers and built countless of game prototypes. Last game released simultaneously on PC and consoles (PS, Xbox, Switch).
In 6 months I also built two complex game demos using exclusively LLM: client server, multiplayer, lots of features, complex 50,000+ LOC projects: one card game and one RTS. So I know how to build fast with AI.
I have recent experience of running company I co-founded, hiring, leading small team of developers, game designers and artists. I know how to make company P&L and cool looking pith slides. I also extraverted so can do a bizdev too.
I looking for opportunities where I can apply my experience in or outside of gamedev. It's can be both one time project or full-time job that I'll dedicate 200% of my time to since my job is my life and other way around.

I am the founder of https://codeinput.com, a product focused on reducing friction during the development cycle. This means merge conflicts, slow/broken CI pipelines, and branching strategies that don't scale or become too chaotic to manage. I'm taking on consulting engagements covering CI/CD pipelines, code ownership, and branch management. Currently focused on teams using GitHub only. First exploratory hour is free.
About: Hey, I'm Marciano. I'm a product designer and developer who builds things end-to-end, from first concept and interface design to working production code. 7+ years of shipping apps, platforms, internal tools, and consumer products.
Some recent stuff: I built Stembuswijzer.nl, a polling station finder that went viral during Dutch elections last year. I've built Campfire.gg, a watch-together video platform. And I'm currently building Vit (joinvit.club), an all-in-one health tracking app covering food logging, workouts, habits, and body measurements, recently accepted into an incubator program.
I'm looking for a part-time engagement (roughly 16 hours/week) contributing to something meaningful in health, sustainability, or community tech.
I work fast, think in systems, and care a lot about clarity, quality, and usability. If you're building something that should actually get used, let's talk :)

Most recent: DevOps and Engineering Manager at Counterpart (insurance), where I led two full-stack teams plus DevOps and built an MCP infrastructure connecting GitHub, Linear, Salesforce, Snowflake, and Slack across the full insurance lifecycle. Agile success rate peaked at 89% against an 80% industry benchmark. A git-tracked Salesforce deployment pipeline I built on GitHub Actions saved roughly $20k a year and made deploys boring again.
Before that: Director of Engineering at Flourish Software (up to 15 engineers, 60% improvement in on-time delivery, 50% reduction in support load), Senior Full Stack at Expensify (moved millions of dollars a day, six-stack infrastructure), CEO of RedDep Labs (17 people, $8.6M valuation), CTO at iCracked (Y Combinator, 400+ technicians, dispatching system).
How I lead: I hire people who care about each other's success as much as their own, set clear commitments, and then trust the team to do the work. I trained as an actor and was a special education teacher before I wrote code, which is how I keep technical conversations legible to non-engineers and how I'm comfortable in any room.
Best fit: a team that values shipping over performance, has real users, and wants a leader technical enough to read the code and grounded enough to keep the team steady when things get hard.

Hi, I am Jojo Feng, a software engineer with 5 years of professional experience crafting mobile experiences. I started building mobile apps when I was in junior high, it was 2013, back when the Windows Phone was still a thing. I was appealed to the design system of Windows Phone (also because I was not able to afford a MacBook) so I learned C# and XAML after school and started build apps for it. Seeing positive reviews of my apps from users and how they provided values for them motivated me to pursue a career as a mobile engineer, and to this day, I'm still trying my best to bring the best mobile experience to those in need.

Full-stack JavaScript-focused engineer/entrepreneur with lots of experience in building scalable single page apps in different frameworks, web3, multiplayer web games, building transformers and other networks, all sorts of things. Product-oriented, executive and leadership experience, comfortable in both autonomous and collaborative settings, capable Linux sysadmin. I know how to ship, end to end.
I've focused for several years now on agentic and generative work such as simulating networked LLM-augmented embodied agents, interface research, too much to list here but always happy to talk more over email. While the rest of the industry is just starting to latch onto agentic systems, I can offer years of experience, product insight and leadership.
Available for consulting, startups, projects, anything web or agentic.

I've been using Go as my primary language for the last nine years, although I don't overly care about the specific language and have experience with a wide variety of tools and languages such as Python, Ruby, PHP, C, JavaScript, Lua, and probably some more. While I've mainly focused on backend in the last few years, I also have written plenty of frontend code over the years, from the "pre-jQuery" days to VueJS.
In the last few years I mainly focused on GoatCounter (https://www.goatcounter.com) with the occasional contract job, but I'm keen to start working on something new for the longer term.
I've got quite a bit of code on my GitHub, so you can take a look at that if you want: https://github.com/arp242
Technologies: Python, TypeScript (Nest.js for API, React for mobile or web front), Ruby, AWS (Architect, DevOps, AI/ML), Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, LLMs, Scikit-learn(all MPL, SNS, pd, Data Science stack), Solidity, FinTech/Blockchain. (I've worked professionally with too many to write here and not give the feeling of "wall of text".)

Hello Hacker News! I'm a CompSci PhD (AI Multi-Agent systems... doing Agents' research back in 2004, before they were cool haha) and a passionate technologist with a warm spot for building high-impact products and teams.
For over 20 years, I've loved being a hands-on leader in FinTech, building everything from scalable crypto trading desks and AI/ML systems for fraud detection, to migrating entire platforms from monoliths to robust, cloud-native microservices. I thrive on aligning engineering with business goals and tackling complex distributed systems challenges.
Zero-to-One Success: Built foundational tech/AI/ML at a Fintech, enabling the company's Series A. Executive & Scaling Experience: CTO of a crypto trading desk; Head of Engineering, Product or AI/ML at high-growth FinTechs.
I'm actively looking for a remote role, or for an absolute amazing opportunity, I would relocate. I am most comfortable as first/founding engineer, also have been head-of-tec/cto building startup's technology teams. Right now I am most interested in doing AI/LLM work, like really pushing the status quo of both the Engineering and AI/ML. (I would love to get into something like SSI).
A couple of interesting personal projects I'm working on now:
* I trained a couple of Transformers+MoE models to forecast the price of a REIT-like time series in Mexico (called FIBRA in Mexico): They observe heavy cyclical behaviours every quarter that can be isolated and used as information for forecasting. Good results, albeit not 'life changing' yet.
* I'm working on a "live weight adjustment" or "live training" framework for Transformers/MoE models to be able to use new information to modify the weights of the network slightly, without having to re-train the whole model. Kind of like LoRA/QLoRA, but making something usable for a live-running model.
* I am also experimenting with non-chat uses of text/token LLMs. LLMs are text generation machines, which leaving them "running" independently would be akin to our (people's) train of thought that starts since we are born. Having an LLM do that and finding ways give it "perceptors" for inputs (like IRQs in computers) for environment communication could yield interesting results.

I'm looking to do something interesting with good people. I'm thinking something pretty niche that's a real product and not some AI-based deal. Not that I have anything against AI, I kind of just don't want to chase the fad, you know.
The last thing place like that where I worked, iCare (formerly Centervue) makes fundus cameras for eye exams, and it was a really productive environment.
I don't need to chase a really high salary; I'm looking for something fun, challenging and meaningful.
HN isn't likely the place to look for it but I'm also kind of interested in something around housing policy or otherwise branching out from software. I've immensely enjoyed my volunteer work with a local YIMBY group (well, ok, I founded the group).
Software engineer with 8+ years of professional experience, focused on open-source developer tooling & build systems. 5 years at JetBrains. Ideally, I'd like my next job to be in Rust.
I do full-stack product design + development in one. In an agentic era, you don't need huge teams. If you have an idea, an LLM will vibe it most of the way, but won't think through real, human UX—I do. When you want to go all the way, hire me. https://inventbuild.studio
