While just roughly scanning over headlines as I scrolled through HN, I saw this story and my mind automatically interpreted Nextpad++ as Notepad++, I had to stop and fully read through the headline before realizing there was actually an 'e' in there instead of an 'o'. They really chose the least indistinguishable new name that they possibly could have.
