Trump admin blocks foreign access to Anthropic's most powerful AI models

The perverse reversal here, is that if Anthropic had not turned down working on MILSPEC data they would probably have been told to welcome the engagement so the state could functionally understand what foreign strategic interests wanted in AI.

I suppose Fable is going offline imminently since there's currently absolutely zero KYC for Anthropic to know who is a foreign citizen.

Long-term it won’t do any good. Every attack on Anthropic just creates a larger and larger brain drain over time the genie is out of the bottle.
