The Appocalypse

There will be no red-eyed metal skeletons marching over a field of human skulls. No machine intelligence will announce that it has become self-aware and decided to remove us from the equation.

The system most likely to take control of your life will not threaten you.

It will offer to help.

AI is not there yet, it makes mistakes, as humans do, are we so easily forgiving when an AI is doing mistakes like we do with humans? are the "blind trustees" right in believing every word AI tells them just because that model knows how to do something they don't (e.g. write software)? in reality, when you meet someone smarter than you, appreciation settles in, is that appreciation the same for an AI model?
