Bdinfo-rs – Rust cross-platform Blu-ray analyzer (GUI and CLI and WASM)

after all the interest about code ports/rewrite, I wanted to test the process myself to have some fun.

BDInfo was the perfect candidate: 18 years old, Windows only, C#. Initially not intended to be released, the results were excellent so I decided to upgrade it, by making it truly cross platform (3 OS x 2 Arch), and finally release it properly.

in light of recent Sony announcement, and the slow but sure transition towards an all-digital future, I want people of the future even more to be able to gather info from those mysterious round plastic discs, using their modern hardware, on whatever platform they want.

completely overengineered, I had lots of fun and learned a thing or two, hope you do too. any other detail is in the repo, I invite you to check it out if you ever need to use BDInfo. (for any bug kindly open a GitHub issue using the appropriate template, thanks)
