These apheresis machines are removing microplastics and PFCs, but that is a byproduct of their process. They are not TARGETING these molecules, nor do we have a reliable way of doing so without also filtering every other molecule of similar size

Do we even have an accurate method for actually detecting micro plastics in tissue/blood? Didn't I read somewhere that it's very difficult to do because plastic is basically inert and is really hard to detect?
