If the Yashar party does better than Likud in the October election but without enough seats to govern (it's a parliamentary country) as they seem likely to then it's also likely that prosecutions and witch-hunting will be postponed in order to have a more stable coalition government that continues to keep the circumstances of the event mostly secretive.

I also question how could they not have known anything, seeing as they were recording ALL calls and messages within Palestine in the year leading up to oct 7, which was revealed when MS/Azure were found to be storing the data for it all.

Wouldn't be the first (or last) unscrupulous leader to see the personal benefit of a big national tragedy.
