US and Iran reach cease fire agreement

The kind of where there is no shooting going on? Or rather the usual kind where everybody shoots everybody and claims to be retaliating?

Excellent. I've been having a hard time knowing what day of the week it is lately, and this will remind me it is a Monday.

i've lost track of which agreement we are on

4 hours since posting. Any news of this being breached yet?

I assume it was just another market manipulation play?

And if it does hold, what is his next move to cause even more massive price shocks? They won't let prices revert to where they were - it's just normal now to have some shock event to raise prices

The key part to understand why this means nothing:

> In a statement, Supreme National Security Council said the agreement called for an immediate end to military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon

But Israel is never going to reverse its invasion of Lebanon, its key to their Greater Israel[1] project. It's important to know that Israel is currently occupying parts of southern Lebanon [2]. Trump would have to force Israel to stop its illegal invasion, that's never going to happen.
