No -- really, I'm not being dismissive here. The average person has given up on RAM prices coming down. They aren't stopping their consumption of such (although they are slowing down) but everyone and their grandma knows RAM is expensive and it going from "really expensive" to "really realy expensive" is not going to phase 99% of the population at this point.
1000 dollarydoos for a stick of RAM vs 1250 dollars isn't gonna make it any less accessible when it's already inaccessible.
I also find it highly suspect that every time china announces it has made major strides in producing good-enough memory that suddenly every western news site/station/app is all "omg ram will never get cheaper".
It's been less than a year. That's way too fast to give up.
Anyway TSMC isn't making RAM.
Feelings don't operate with a timeline and there is no right or wrong length of time for them to be felt or ignored. There is no logic to this or anything else and going "but its only been--" is so laughably naive that I genuinely hope you manage to have a good life.
