NASA mission to save sinking space telescope fails

The mission was a risky bet. And they lost.

You can't expect much from $30 million mission, but it was somewhat disappointing that multiple failures occurred on the spacecraft after it arrived in orbit.

Reaction wheels and thrusters failed. To me it looks like they were flying with duct tape.
