The crisis of AI-generated mathematics

I see lots of parallels with programming.

In particular the ethical consequences of having code generation be devalued to the point the public believes programmers are not worthy of compensation, while our society still greatly depends on all kinds of software to function.

It seems the AI propaganda could go for any intellectual field and destroy the social viability of it, while not actually delivering the societal function.
