It might seem like Google is doing nothing wrong, one might ask "why would they have to share everything with others, thank them for sharing AOSP at all!", however in my view, Android giving Pixel (which is one of OEMs producing "certified" devices) preferential treatment over other partners, which in turn have preferential treatment over the rest of OEMs, they reduce competition, because they essentially "bribe" others to not __really__ compete with them... it's not a coincidence that we have this Google/Apple duopoly, by "giving" Android/AOSP "for free" they want to exert control over the ecosystem by discouraging others from creating a real alternative.
