Bomb the Arctic, dam the Mediterranean and build a second moon

Geo engineering has been co-opeted by commercial interests in maintenance of the status quo. There's good science to be done in things like cloud forming over the barrier reef, from fertilising the sea, geosequeatration but when you look at carbon capture and storage its just an excuse to soak money and do fracking. It's a wash.

This is a sub plot out of a disaster movie. We know shifting to low carbon power is needed. All the rest is stupid time wasting by people who should know better.

Now watch the thread degenerate into postures about nuclear power. Again, it's an excuse to not invest in solar, wind and batteries.
