Very nice. This brings GNU/HURD features to about the year 1995 which is impressive for its brief 35 year existence.

I’m less excited about Hurd than I once was, because now there’s interesting alternatives with good momentum (Redox and Genode in particular). But I’m glad it’s still moving along; it seems to be the only steadily maturing C project with this kind of approach.

It may be silly to write a more secure OS in C, but I think it’s important to preserve the C lineage over time, even if it’s not at the forefront.

Glad to see work on Hurd pick up more this past few years. I doubt it will ever be mainstream, but I’ve always found the concept interesting
